“A level playing field for sustainability can only be achieved through trust-based relationships, built on a foundation of equal opportunity and equitable resource distribution. The Fair Fashion Award serves as our North Star pointing the way toward that empowerment of fairness and inclusion.”

Hyunjin Kim

Testex

“There are not only enlightened consumers who take the issue of sustainability seriously, but also more and more brands and designers who want to offer more than just empty promises. It seems important and right to me that these efforts are recognised with a special award.”

Jeroen van Rooijen

Fashion and style expert

“Fair and sustainable textiles must be promoted now. These endeavours demand a lot from the initiators: courage, perseverance and a strong will. The Fair Fashion Award not only gives this pioneering work visibility, but also helps to sensitise the public to social and ecological responsibility in the textile industry.”

Tina Tomovic

HSLU

“The Fair Fashion Award makes visible those who do not produce at the expense of people and the environment. It stands for transparency, responsibility and a spirit of innovation – and is a strong signal to an industry in transition.”

Martin Tschudin

Amphora

“With the Fair Fashion Award, we want to offer consumers guidance – and show which brands are taking on real responsibility instead of just greenwashing.”

Rebekka Sommerhalder

Fashion Revolution Switzerland

“The Fair Fashion Award not only recognises the end products, but also the entire path to them. It puts fair conditions and innovative business models centre stage. By celebrating these values, it establishes a new understanding of fashion – one that places appreciation for people and the environment at the centre.”

Andri Bodmer

Circular Globe

“Fast fashion is not sustainable. We need to take a closer look at the textile supply chain and demand greater transparency and ecological and social commitment. This requires changes in the supply chain, in production, and in consumer behavior. The Fair Fashion Award honors pioneers for innovative, recyclable, and sustainable solutions and raises their profile.”
